So, there's reason to celebrate. Ganguly is back in the test team. Albeit temporarily.After scoring two centuries in three Ranji matches, the selectors had to take him (Dravid and Chappel must be fuming)
In the recently held match at Eden Gardens, the crowd passed out a clear message to the Indian Cricket team sans Ganguly that they are not welcome here anymore. Pissed off Chappel showed some gestures to the Bong crowd.I am sure that Dravid has also learnt the hard way that, not only the actors guild and the politicians decide the voice of kolkata.Kolkata stands united in the injustice done to Saurav.A man like Saurav has proved his metttle and humility by showing such a fine form.
Last but not the least, I would like to make a point,How many chances are we going to give Tendulkar. He had enough!!If Sourav is booted out, citing poor form.

End of an era.............

What seems to be curtains for the former Indian Cricket captain, Sourav Ganguly has been omitted from the ODI squad for the second consecutive time.The selectors seem to have found a team capable of leading the country to 2007.Though he his scoring fluently in the domestic league, his age and the controversy surrounding him may have led to this omission.
However the place in the Tests versus Sri Lanka is still for grabs, and surely Ganguly will keep no stone unturned during this process.
